Curbside Profit with a Sloth in his pocket
OK......most people won't get the humor behind that title, but those in "the group" will. I just put that title there to be assy because I knew it would make K and LBG cut me dirty looks...lol. Good thing I am so lovable, otherwise they'd probably beat the hell out of me. :)
Had a pretty uneventful weekend, outside of sharing stories of past sexual conquest with my friend "Jwanna" (names changed to protect the not so innocent) and trying to track down my friend A after her 7-hour drinking binge. I swear, I drunk is almost as hard to catch as a crackhead. You turn your head for 30-seconds and they disappear. they're like smoke! Luckily, all ended well and she arrived safe and sound in her bed.
My friend "Buster" got enganged this weekend. I am really happy for her, but at the same time I am sad. "Buster" is a great girl, sweet as can be...but I truly think she is settling for the first guy who asked her because of outside pressure. She's a school teacher, she's my age (so she'll be 28 this year).....so everyone around her at work is married (most with kids). No one wants to be the 30 year-old unmarried shcool teacher. I've only met the guy once, and I wasn't very impressed. I also have it on good authority from "Jwanna" that he is a prick. Uggghh...can't things ever be easy?
