Save the environment...plant a Bush back in Texas!
I swear...if this year's election is stolen like the last one, I'm moving to Canada. It amazes me that things that this administration has gotten away with! Clinton smokes pot when he's young and has sex with the fat intern and it's front page news for over half of his presidency; Bush snorts coke, is a drunk, is running the country while on EXTREMELY POWERFUL anti-depressants, has slutty daughters (hey, if Rush Limbaugh and the like can make fun of how Chealsea looked, then I can call them slutty), has a wife accused of selling pot in college, has a VP who supported apartheid, using the war in Iraq to feather his own nest via Hallaburton, took us into war with a bold faced lie, and has proven the fact that "once a bully, always a bully" and we hear NOTHING! What is wrong with this picture?
Does no one notice that the Bush administration has not created a single new net job.....NONE! The were giving themsleves big pats on the back during the RNC saying "companies are hiring"..." we created 250,000 jobs this month"...well, that's some freeze-dried bullshit! It doesn't matter if companies are hiring if (1) higher paid positions are being eliminated and replaced with lower-paying ones, (2) if the number of jobs created is still less than the number that has been lost since he took office. Look at it this way, they are touting the accomplishment of creating 250,000 new jobs in a month. To put that into perspective...when Clinton was in office (all 8 years of his term), he had ONE MONTH that he did not have at least 250,000 new jobs created. For all you non-math majors, that means that for the 95 other months he was in office, he had the same "great accomplishment" (or better) that the Bush administration had ONCE! YIPPY, sign me up to vote for him today because that man knows what he's doing.
I think what scares me more than anything is to hear the rantings of BRAINWASHED republicans who spout off the same undefendable psuedo-factoids as if they were carried down the moutain by Charlton Heston (who would have to carry them down on his back now that he has to keep both hands free to carry his formerly banned assault weapon that he needs in case 200 people break into his home at the same time and he needs to be able to shoot them all within a minute). I wish people would GROW UP, stop regurgetating your parents politics, open your eyes, and make an educated decision of who should be running this country. But, then, i know it's not as important a decision as who should win American Idol or The Apprentice.
My last soap box issue (I promise), is marriage. The only thing I have to say about that is, if it was such a "sacred institution" as the right would have us believe, then why (1) Is it easier to get a divorce than it is a marriage liscense, (2) are the majority of the people who are defending the FMA on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th marriage, (3) and finally, if it was so sacred, we wouldn't have "The Bachelor", The Bachelorett", "Who wants to Marry my Dad", "Who want's the marry a Little Person". etc.... GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK!
A FEW FACTS TO PONDER:
(1) JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE WAR DOESN'T MEAN YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE DOING THEIR JOBS BY FIGHTING IT.
(2) JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT MAKE YOU ANTI -AMERICAN, JUST ANTI BUSH!
(3) GOD DOES NOT HAVE A POLITICAL PARTY AFFILIATION...CHECK YOUR BIBLE, THERE ISN'T A SINGLE ELEPHANT AT THE MANGER (ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A DONKEY...HMMMMM)
(4) IF IT WASN'T FOR FRANCE, WE WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE A COUNTRY (LOOK IT UP...THEY WERE OUR ONLY ALLIES DURING THE REVOULTION AGAINST THE UK)
